ABOUT THE FUNCTION:
The subscriptions team at Aspermont are responsible for the growth and development of our paid subscriber audience. The focus of the team is split between generating new business accounts, and renewing and expanding existing subscriber accounts both in terms of their value, but their size and scale.
With our subscriptions revenues continuing to grow, we are looking to recruit an additional account manager to join our existing team to drive revenue growth across our range of mining and energy products. This role will report to the Subscription Team Leader.
YOUR ROLE
Your role will have responsibility for generating increased revenue from existing subscribers, both by increasing the number of users on each account but also incorporating additional products and services. There will also be opportunity to further explore and develop the potential of these accounts, by identifying additional opportunities, such as other divisions and teams who are currently not part of the existing subscription package. Also driving delegate sales for our specialist events.
Alongside this there will be opportunity to generate new business by working across leads sourced proactively and those generated by our global marketing team.
You will be adept and experienced in account management, enjoy building client relationships and selling multiple services across different company types. We are now looking for a sales professional with proven experience within the B2B Energy sector to spearhead the growth of our content and data solutions across the global energy sector. This is a new role which will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to own and lead this sector. As Mining News Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content focused on the mining industry for a business-to-business (B2B) publication.
