• Maintaining a pipeline of prospects and maintaining and updating the CRM system
• Feedback to the Marketing Manager on which lead types are most productive

We are looking for a Conference Producer to join our London team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a producer to develop and run a US based conference, building on a well-established publication and event brand.  The individual will be responsible for researching and developing global conference programmes tailored to the global mining industry.  The successful candidate will be expected to take on a high degree of ownership, autonomy and responsibility for the production and project management of new launches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research the market to understand key trends and topics
• Identify and build relationships with industry leading executives conducting telephone interviews and face-to-face meetings
• Plan and implement the focus of each conference ensuring they are commercially viable
• Attract and secure leading key industry speakers
• Research competitor events, highlighting strengths and weaknesses
• Build the identity and promote each event across social media
• Work seamlessly with Marketing, Sales and Operations to provide the best pre-event and onsite experience possible

AT EVENTS:

• Onsite management and ownership for the running order, schedule and agenda of the conference
• Collate feedback from those attending the event to gain any recommendations or ideas for future events
• Ensure excellent onsite experiences for our attendees

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 - 12 months of commercial experience
• Knowledge of the mining/oil&gas sector preferred but not necessary
• An interest in producing top tier events
• Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
• Confident speaking to senior executives
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent organisational skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Proactive nature and show initiative

THE CANDIDATE:

• Have a good level of previous experience of the conference production process from within an established conference business

We are on the hunt for a committed and motivated media sales expert to take on an exciting sales executive position. You will be working across a major news platform in the agricultural sector and be the daily point of contact for established clients in the composition; delivery and reporting of highly effective online display and content solutions. Post campaign you will provide campaign analysis and recommendations in order to improve future and upcoming campaigns to best meet marketing objectives. This role requires exceptional organisational and communications skills and the desire to continually upskill in order to remain up-to-date in an evolving media industry. As a trusted advisor, you'll be imbedded in their daily processes, understanding them and their product intimately. Building on an already strong relationship will be a large part of this position, seeing you help client define both strategic and tactical solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and preserve relationships with our customers visiting key personnel on regular occasions

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Digital, print and content marketing sales experience with 3-5 years' experience within media sales
• Outstanding communication skills - communication is key to this role as you will be communicating with internal departments as well as clients on a daily basis
• Face to face sales and business development experience
• Solutions based selling experience, the ability to assess and identify with and understand industry trends, economic and otherwise to provide comprehensive effective solutionS
• Highly motivated, sales focused, driven to achieve and outperform sales targets
• Drive new business as well as grow and service established clients
• Communicate globally as we work across all markets
• Superior skills in writing proposals, delivering high quality output (media schedules- documentation to clients)
• Established skill set in sales budget planning, forecasting and managing your progress to achieve target

PREFERRED:

• Doubleclick (DFP) Google analytics  (GA) experience
• Sales and marketing contacts within the Energy, Mining and Agriculture sectors
• Tertiary qualifications in communications or marketing
