ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of an international sales team who are located across the UK, Australia, Canada, and the United States. Day to day you will be a key player within the Australian based sales team, and work closely with key partners across our Editorial, Research, Product and Design and Events teams.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive, who has a successful track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales goals to join our fully integrated sales team in Perth.

You will be selling across Aspermont's global brands including digital display, account-based marketing, broadcast solutions, custom content, and event sales. The role is primarily responsible for developing and managing a client patch of high potential accounts. You will be working with our research, events, and data teams to deliver high value solutions.

In addition, you will be selling our new data services product suite, providing lead generation and Account Based Marketing solutions across 7 vertical industry sectors to your account base to generate additional revenue streams.

You will report directly into our Perth based, APAC Sales Director, which we also think will be an exciting prospect and huge opportunity for you. YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE BUSINESS WILL INCLUDE

  • Managing existing relationships and driving new business for all Aspermont media solutions
  • Pro-actively pitching new ideas, concepts and solutions to clients and have full coverage across their target verticals
  • Staying on top of industry trends and understanding how Aspermont can maximise opportunities in new and emerging areas, and
  • Providing accurate account management and forecasting
  • Overall, meeting and exceeding annual sales targets

ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL HAVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Previous Media Sales experience, with a background in business to business
  • Proven success in selling integrated programs on an international basis
  • Proven success in selling large deals to clients directly
  • The ability to account map and develop multiple contacts within the same organisations at a global level
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment that includes Sales, Editorial, Product and Design
  • A passion for new business development
  • To listen, think creatively and apply solutions to meet our customer needs
  • Confident and clear communicator

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of an international sales team who are located across the UK, Australia, Canada, and the United States. Day to day you will be a key player within the Australian based sales team by providing support directly to the team, allowing them to fully focus on achieving sales.

YOUR ROLE

The role of Media Sales Coordinator is a newly created function that is in response to the shift in the media landscape to better service and respond to our customers and creating a bridge of communication between sales and our clients. The role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a high level of organisations, the ability to co-ordinate and manage multiple tasks, to help support on product development and execution.

You will be required to be a front facing representative to our customers who have purchased our media and advertising services. This will include the day to day campaign management of standard media and custom media solutions.

Your primary role will be the management and execution of campaigns that have been sold by our sales team. This will extend to managing existing relationships with clients that book annual advertising programs by co-ordinating bookings, paperwork, and program delivery.

This will include telephone and email communication to Marketing Managers across the resources sector. An excellent level of detail and the ability to work proactively and deliver best-in class service to internal and external stakeholders is a key requirement for the role.

You will need to have a very high attention to detail, can multi-task and to be proactive in making suggestions and acting on your own initiative. There will be a requirement to work with multiple reporting and data systems and excel. In addition to the above, this role will also provide adhoc support to the Sales Director.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE BUSINESS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Deal with incoming requests and queries from clients and to respond independently and efficiently
  • Proactively communicate and update clients on their marketing programs
  • Act as a point contact for those clients that are booking annual or individual campaigns. Although not a sales task, being able to take orders, schedule bookings and secure signed orders and traffic activity will be a key task
  • Account Management of up to 300 independent accounts
  • Trafficking and reporting on campaigns via Google Ad Manager and Google Analytics
  • Work closely and assist sales staff as and when required.
  • In addition to supporting the Sales team this role will also provide office support functions to the Sales Director

ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL HAVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Previous experience within a sales support role or customer account service support role
  • Professional and exemplary telephone etiquette
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel (familiar with Pivot Tables)
  • Experience of Word, PowerPoint
  • Ideally would have knowledge of Google Ad Manager and Google Analytics
  • Fast paced but accurate data entry skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; understands importance of relationship building and management
  • Able to take clear instruction and understand the efficiency of working to a system
  • Ideally prior experience with a CRM system
  • Effective time management and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
