ABOUT THE SUBSCRIPTIONS FUNCTION

With our subscriptions revenues continuing to grow, we are looking to recruit a new business sales executive to join our existing team to drive revenue growth across our range of mining and energy products.

This is a new role as we are continuing to expand our team, in order to capitalize on our strong recent new business performance on both Mining Journal and Mining Magazine. Significant growth opportunities remain across the Americas region, which will be your primary area of focus.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Group Sales Director, the role will take responsibility for bringing in new business from existing inbound leads, as well as proactively selling into targeted institutions. The role is fast paced, and you will be selling to an International client base across a range of publications and services.

You will be joining an existing subscription sales team spanning London, Perth and Belo Horizonte, and should enjoy working and being part of a team, as well being happy to work independently.

You will be working across both the mining finance and mining operations industries dealing with a range of organisations including mining companies, investment houses, suppliers and law firms.

Excellent leads will be provided by marketing, these will range from prospects downloading sample information to people requesting trials. Alongside these enquiries you will be expected to be proactive and be able to show initiative and build your own pipeline of new business prospects. Full sales training and support will be given, alongside industry and product training to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in your role.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE BUSINESS WILL INCLUDE

  • Achieving monthly subscription sales targets within the Americas market
  • Identifying and securing sales opportunities and lead generation
  • Timely and accurate processing of orders
  • Managing high volume sales activity
  • Accurately tracking and reporting of sales results
  • Maintaining a pipeline of prospects and maintaining and updating the CRM system
  • Providing feedback to management on which lead types are most productive
  • Working on events and achieving agreed event targets where required.

LOCATION OF THE ROLE

Ideally this role would be located from our London office, however we open to it also being based remotely within Canada where we also have an entity set up and you will be able to penetrate the America's market.

This is a new role as we are continuing to expand our team, in order to capitalize on our strong recent new business performance, and the opportunities that are available to Aspermont across both the wider Asia region as well as Australia.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Australian Subscriptions Team Leader, the role will take responsibility for bringing in new business from existing inbound leads, as well as proactively selling into targeted institutions. The role is fast paced, and you will be selling to an International client base across a range of publications and services.

You will be joining an existing subscription sales team spanning London, Perth and Belo Horizonte, and should enjoy working and being part of a team, as well being happy to work independently.

Location is flexible with the key being that you are in the right time zone to service the Asia market, you will be working across both the mining finance and mining operations industries, as well as energy which is a huge growth opportunity for us as a business.

Excellent leads will be provided by marketing, these will range from prospects downloading sample information to people requesting trials. Alongside these enquiries you will be expected to be proactive and be able to show initiative and build your own pipeline of new business prospects. Full sales training and support will be given, alongside industry and product training to ensure you are fully equipped to succeed in your role

  • Helping increase our subscriber footprint in Asia across mining companies, investors and suppliers
  • Playing a key role in the building out of our energy subscriber base within Australia and NZ
  • Identifying and securing sales opportunities and lead generation
  • Timely and accurate processing of orders
  • Delivering a high-volume sales activity
  • Accurately tracking and reporting of our sales results
  • Maintaining a pipeline of prospects and maintaining and updating the CRM system
  • Providing feedback to management on which lead types are most productive

Ideally this role would be located from our Perth office, however we are open to it also being based within Singapore.

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of an international sales team who are located across the UK, Australia, Canada, and the United States. Day to day you will be a key player within the Australian based sales team, and work closely with key partners across our Editorial, Research, Product and Design and Events teams.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive, who has a successful track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales goals to join our fully integrated sales team in Perth.

You will be selling across Aspermont's global brands including digital display, account-based marketing, broadcast solutions, custom content, and event sales. The role is primarily responsible for developing and managing a client patch of high potential accounts. You will be working with our research, events, and data teams to deliver high value solutions.

In addition, you will be selling our new data services product suite, providing lead generation and Account Based Marketing solutions across 7 vertical industry sectors to your account base to generate additional revenue streams.

You will thrive working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, where you will have the opportunity to take on exciting new challenges, along with further developing your existing skills, and building new skills for the future. You will report directly into our Perth based, APAC Sales Director, which we also think will be an exciting prospect and huge opportunity for you.   • Proven success in selling integrated programs on an international basis
  • Proven success in selling large deals to clients directly
  • The ability to account map and develop multiple contacts within the same organisations at a global level
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment that includes Sales, Editorial, Product and Design
  • A passion for new business development
