Thompson has worked within the B2B media sector for twenty years, having held senior management roles at Sweet & Maxwell, IDG, and Emap. He was formerly Managing Director of market intelligence company Berne Group, prior to which he ran online political news agency DeHavilland and project finance publisher IJ Online.
