Aspermont Limited (ASX: ASP) is pleaed to announce the promotion of Ajit Patel to Chief Operating Officer responsible for all aspects of digital content delivery for the Aspermont Group. Ajit has extensive experience in the media sector and particularly in the transformation of print businesses to digital publishing. Ajit joined Aspermont from Incisive Media in 2013 as Chief Information Officer and has been promoted to the newly created role.

Ajit as CIO, together with Robin Booth (Group Publisher) have managed our Project Horizon to transform Aspermont's global technology from print publishing to digital production by developing a centralised "software as a service" approach. Our core international brands including Mining Journal, Mining Magazine and MiningNews.net are now able to leverage new revenue streams in subscriptions, data services and global events.

On completion of our technology transformation, Ajit as COO will focus on developing new revenue streams within Aspermont's publishing and events divisions.
