YOUR ROLE

You will be a front facing representative to our key clients who have purchased our media, data, and custom media solutions. The role requires the ability to show leadership by working in collaboration with other departments and providing support on new commercial projects developed from our Content Works and Mining Journal Intelligence division.

Customer service management will also extend to managing existing relationships with clients that book annual advertising programs by co-ordinating bookings, paperwork, and program delivery.

Our services require you to work closely with our marketing teams to look at ways to promote and distribute content and solutions.

The senior position will require you to show excellent mentoring skills to the wider customer success team, supporting the Customer Success Team Leader with training, onboarding, and project management.

Your role will have a reporting line into the Customer Success Team Leader based in London and will also collaborate with our Chief Commercial Officer, also based in the UK. The role requires the ability to think independently and to be initiative-taking in the management of campaign delivery and communication.

Your day to day role will include:

  • Responding to incoming requests and queries from clients and to respond independently and efficiently
  • Proactively communicating and updating clients on their marketing programs
  • Actively working on integrated marketing programs sold to clients and support the CCO on product build, execution, and reporting
  • Manage full workflow of our webcast and podcasts sold by the international sales team
  • Work in collaboration with marketing to co-ordinate initiatives to promote our services to our client base
  • Function as a point contact for those clients that are booking annual or individual campaigns. Although not a sales task, being able to take orders, schedule bookings and secure signed orders and traffic activity will be a key task
  • Provide support with the creation of bespoke marketing collateral for the sales team
  • Support the Customer Success Team Leader on bridging gap between sales and events. Includes updating event tracker document, keeping events and marketing updates on inbound sales, and keeping sales updated on available inventory
  • Provide day to day support to the Customer Success Team Leader and CCO on new initiatives and project development
  • Strengthen relationship and communication between the global sales teams
  • Develop standards that are bult around culture and delivering outstanding service levels to stakeholders

ABOUT THE FUNCTION:

The subscriptions team at Aspermont are responsible for the growth and development of our paid subscriber audience. The focus of the team is split between generating new business accounts, and renewing and expanding existing subscriber accounts both in terms of their value, but their size and scale.

With our subscriptions revenues continuing to grow, we are looking to recruit an additional account manager to join our existing team to drive revenue growth across our range of mining and energy products. This role will report to the Subscription Team Leader.

YOUR ROLE

Your role will have responsibility for generating increased revenue from existing subscribers, both by increasing the number of users on each account but also incorporating additional products and services. There will also be opportunity to further explore and develop the potential of these accounts, by identifying additional opportunities, such as other divisions and teams who are currently not part of the existing subscription package. Also driving delegate sales for our specialist events.

Alongside this there will be opportunity to generate new business by working across leads sourced proactively and those generated by our global marketing team.

You will be adept and experienced in account management, enjoy building client relationships and selling multiple services across different company types. As well as dealing with current renewal contacts and subscribers you will be expected to be proactive and be able to show initiative to build your own pipeline of new business prospects and ensuring the CRM is updated.

YOUR ROLE

Mining Journal is the oldest and most dominant brand in the Mining finance space that is accessed by a global investor and mining community, there are over 700 mining and energy companies that are listed on the ASX that are continually looking to generate investment from professional and retail investors. This role will be to manage mining companies listed in Australia and to sell our investor-based solutions. This will involve speaking to CEO, Investor Relations, and PR decision makers to discover how they are looking to raise investment, what type of investors they are looking to engage with and what marketing they would like to undertake.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate comprehensive coverage of their allocated client patch, the ability to ask probing questions, build long-term relationships, listen to client needs and to clearly articulate our solutions.

Services we provide include one to one investor meetings, live events, advertising and content creation (where we help create video and partner content).

Typically, this market will be characterised by investor meetings, curated at virtual or live events. However, no supplier can offer the ability to create integrated content led investor programs that will be distributed across premium global brands. We require an intelligent individual that can present market solutions to Mining company CEOs in compelling, annual, and tactical packages and elevate our services to a greater strategic level.

Your role will have a dual reporting line into the Senior Corporate Development Manager based in Perth and the Chief Commercial Officer based in the UK.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE BUSINESS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Establishing connections and relationships with listed Mining and energy companies (Juniors) that are listed on ASX

You will be part of an international subscriptions sales team who are primarily located across the UK and Australia that maintain and drive activity across MNN, AMM, ENB, PNG capitalizing on our strong recent new business performance, and the opportunities that are available to Aspermont across both the wider Asia region as well as Australia.

YOUR ROLE

The role will take responsibility for bringing in new business from existing inbound leads, as well as proactively selling into targeted institutions. The role is fast paced, and you will be selling to an international client base across a range of publications and services.

You will be joining an existing international subscription sales team spanning London, Perth and Belo Horizonte, and should enjoy working and being part of a team, as well being happy to work independently.

You will be working across both the mining finance and mining operations industries, as well as energy which is a huge growth opportunity for us as a business.

Excellent leads will be provided by marketing, these will range from prospects downloading sample information to people requesting trials. THE FUNCTION:

Aspermont launched ContentWorks in 2019, a dedicated business unit that creates marketing and thought leadership content across the Mining, Energy and Agriculture industry sectors. The content we produce is in collaboration with clients where we will work to a defined brief to produce compelling content formats such as white papers, research, infographics, videos, case studies and custom websites to build stories on behalf of our customers. YOUR ROLE

We are now looking for a sales professional with proven experience within the B2B Energy sector to spearhead the growth of our content and data solutions across the global energy sector. This is a new role which will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to own and lead this sector. This is a consultative, creative, and solution-based sales role where you will be engaging with clients to understand the content gaps, identify lead generation requirements and support them with their ABM requirements. Each solution sold will be unique to that client, bult around their business needs - no one campaign will be the same.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our expansion into this sector and for you to be creative in the solutions that you offer, providing high value programs with clear KPI's. We are seeking an Editor to join our team in Australia. As Mining News Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content focused on the mining industry for a business-to-business (B2B) publication. Your primary objective will be to deliver engaging and informative articles, reports, and other written materials that cater to our target audience of professionals and decision-makers within the sector.

You will be required to gather some data on ASX movements and commodity prices and be able to report on these findings in a clear and concise way. Mining News is at the forefront of market communications.

Your role will be instrumental in ensuring our content is best in class and continues to deliver high value add to our subscribers and new audiences. You will make critical decisions on the day-to-day running of the publication and its editorial agenda, as well as plan and, together with the Group Mining Finance Editor and Content Director, make future decisions on the direction of the publication.

You will be part of a team of three; leading two team members that are based in Perth.

This role will require close monitoring of the website, newsletters and other stats and regular communication with the commercial teams. In addition to aligning your content creation to editorial guidelines.
