ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as Data Researcher is key in supporting our content expansion plans and executing our intelligence strategy, which is built out of our existing research offering.

As a Data Researcher, you will develop databases and data resources for internal and external use, working in collaboration with the Mining Intelligence Editor and Editor of Content Data. You will be expected to source, maintain, and develop a range of data products across our mining content products and other titles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data collection and maintenance. You will support the Editor of Data Content and the Mining Intelligence Editor in developing and maintaining datasets for internal and external stakeholders.

The role will require writing for our research reports, in which you will analyse and present trends and insights from our data in a clear and concise manner.

You will work horizontally across the Content and Intelligence team, supporting all titles, predominately mining, energy, and agriculture. You'll develop a deep understanding of these industries and have the ability to maintain datasets to enrich content. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective use of databases and communicating developments, as well as, contributing to visuals used in daily editorial and research operations. You will proactively look for opportunities to enhance our ability to deliver industry-leading storytelling.

You will assist in promoting content through various channels, including social media, and participate in content distribution strategies to increase readership and engagement. Through your role and the insights developed you will play a part in aiding in the development and execution of reader-engagement and subscriber-audience-building plans and initiatives.

This role sits within the wider intelligence function within the content team.

We are seeking a senior reporter to join us at Energy News Bulletin in Perth, Australia.

ABOUT THE FUNCTION:

The subscriptions team at Aspermont are responsible for the growth and development of our paid subscriber audience. The focus of the team is split between generating new business accounts, and renewing and expanding existing subscriber accounts both in terms of their value, but their size and scale.

With our subscriptions revenues continuing to grow, we are looking to recruit an additional account manager to join our existing team to drive revenue growth across our range of mining and energy products. This role will report to the Subscription Team Leader.

YOUR ROLE

Your role will have responsibility for generating increased revenue from existing subscribers, both by increasing the number of users on each account but also incorporating additional products and services. There will also be opportunity to further explore and develop the potential of these accounts, by identifying additional opportunities, such as other divisions and teams who are currently not part of the existing subscription package. Also driving delegate sales for our specialist events.

Alongside this there will be opportunity to generate new business by working across leads sourced proactively and those generated by our global marketing team.

You will be adept and experienced in account management, enjoy building client relationships and selling multiple services across different company types. As well as dealing with current renewal contacts and subscribers you will be expected to be proactive and be able to show initiative to build your own pipeline of new business prospects and ensuring the CRM is updated.

ABOUT THE FUNCTION:

With our subscriptions revenues and subscriber base continuing to grow, we are looking to recruit a New Business Subscription Sales Executive to join our existing team to drive revenue growth across our range of mining and energy products.

Aspermont's success over the past five years within subscriptions has been built from our account-based selling and marketing approach, and this role plays a vital part within this process.

You will be part of an international subscriptions sales team who are primarily located across the UK and Australia that maintain and drive activity across MNN, AMM, ENB, PNG capitalizing on our strong recent new business performance, and the opportunities that are available to Aspermont across both the wider Asia region as well as Australia.

YOUR ROLE

The role will take responsibility for bringing in new business from existing inbound leads, as well as proactively selling into targeted institutions. The role is fast paced, and you will be selling to an international client base across a range of publications and services.

You will be joining an existing international subscription sales team spanning London, Perth and Belo Horizonte, and should enjoy working and being part of a team, as well being happy to work independently.

You will be working across both the mining finance and mining operations industries, as well as energy which is a huge growth opportunity for us as a business.

Excellent leads will be provided by marketing, these will range from prospects downloading sample information to people requesting trials. We are seeking an Editor to join our team in Australia. As Mining News Editor, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content focused on the mining industry for a business-to-business (B2B) publication.
