Mining Journal Intelligence: 2019 Global METS Investment Report goes live

Aspermont is proud to announce the publication of the 2019 Global METS Investment Report by Mining Journal Intelligence. The report serves as the first global map of an evolving mining sup-ply landscape, including an exclusive listing of the top 100 METS (mining equipment, technology and services) companies and their US$85 billion of revenues from 2018 mining and metals market activity.

Principal author and Mining Journal editor in chief, Richard Roberts, has guided the Global METS Investment Report with over 20 years of experience reporting on, and analysing, METS leaders and industry trends.

The findings of the report focus on mining and metals sector revenues, workforce numbers, R&D spending and key areas of business development. The Mining Journal Intelligence team also probe the top international firms to discover common leadership elements, and enduring points of difference, and meet the experienced executives at the top of company hierarchies to gain insights into their winning strategies and growth plans.

The Top 100 METS companies employed more than 2.1 million people directly at the end of last year, while the total sales revenues for 2018 exceeded $500 billion. On the forward horizon, key business and market indicators remain positive for 2019 and 2020 while investment in produc-tion, acquisitions, and research & development continue to climb.
